Good morning. Good afternoon. Good evening. I’m Amy and this is my food blog! I’m a vegetarian and a food enthusiast from the UK and I love to create and share veggie recipes, food, and diet tips. My full name is Amy Russell and I love to rustle up different recipes and ideas. I’ve been thinking about officially documenting some of my recipes for a while and so I just went for it and now we have ‘Russell Something Up’.

Other than cooking, I also work full time which means I don’t always have as much time or energy to input into cooking or blogging as I would like, however my job does provide me with an income….so that I can buy lots of food to make recipes with.

I’ve been vegetarian for about two years, and I absolutely think it is the best diet choice for me. I do eat some meat substitute products but most of the time I like to cook with whole foods, and I focus on making vegetable-based recipes and creatively using ingredients. Where possible I will also try and point out which recipes are vegan or where there are vegan substitutes available.
